| EDP Cell
The Entrepreneurship Development Programme Cell has been constituted in this institution since 22.06.2006 as a part of State Employment Mission programme with a motto to develop awareness among the students for self-employment. As many as 25-30 nos. of such programmes are being conducted every year by inviting Bankers, Executives from financial institutions, successful entrepreneur and officers from various Government agencies like DIC, MSME, SISI, OSFC, NABARD, APITCO, IIDO etc.
ISTE
Indian Society for Technical Education is a national, professional non-profit making society registered under the Societies Registration Act. of 1860. Almost all the staff members of this institution have been enrolled as members. The ISTE first started in 1941 as the association of Principals of Technical Institutions. It was converted into ISTE in 1968 with a major objective for contribution in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians. A Faculty Chapter and another Student Chapter are being functioning in this institution. A nos. of meetings, seminars are being conducted on the scientific, technical topics related to present day situations. A meeting on ISO 9001 was recently conducted where all the staff members took active participation. |
